Increased productivity could spur rebound of world’s poorest countries – UN

Efforts to rebuild the economies of the world’s poorest nations post-pandemic will fall significantly short unless their productive capacities are drastically improved. This is according to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development’s 2020 report on Least Developed Countries. CNBC Africa spoke to the Chief of LDC Section at UNCTAD, Rolf Traeger for more.
