IMF $650bn Special Drawing Rights – What are the implications for Nigeria?

From the 23rd of August, countries will be able to take advantage of the general allocation of Special Drawing Rights valued at $650 billion , which was approved by the Board of Governors of the IMF. This is the largest SDR allocation in the history of the IMF for members to address the long-term global need for reserves.
