<p>The Minister of Public Enterprise Pravin Gordhan appointed a new interim board at Transnet. This is part of Gordhan&#8217;s cleanup strategy for SA&#8217;s troubled state owned entities. <p>Close to half of Africa’s population are now financially included, coming from a quarter in 2012. According to a new report by the IFC and Mastercard Foundation, countries such as Kenya, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, have doubled their rate of financial inclusion over the past six years. Joining CNBC Africa for more insights into the report is Riadh Naouar, Head of Advisory Services on Sub-Saharan Africa, Financial Institutions Group at the IFC.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://qz.com/1278905/yanny-or-laurel-a-team-of-scientists-weighs-in-on-the-viral-audio-clip/">Quartz</a>, what you hear could be due to audio cognition. “The way you hear sound is influenced by your life in sound—what you know about sound,” neurobiologist Nina Kraus, who runs Brainvolts, told the publication.</p>
<p>In other words Quartz states: &#8220;Once you are trained to hear a sound, you’re more easily able to hear that sound. And sound trains the brain very quickly&#8221;.</p>
