<p>South Africa&#8217;s biggest mobile phone operator, released lower than expected full-year earnings. Headline earnings per share remained unchanged from the previous year and a reduced final dividend of 425 cents per share. There were some positives with increased revenue reported at R86.37 billion, up by 6.3 per cent. CNBC Africa spoke to Vodacom CEO Shameel Joosub.</p>

<p>Nairobi-based addressing start-up OkHi is currently raising about 2 million dollars to support the growth of its business in Kenya. The company enables people to share their real-time location with other individuals or businesses, and recently signed up Uber, e-commerce sites, and ambulance services onto their platform.
