GL Africa awarded tender to build 250 mw plant in Mozambique

GL Africa Energy, a UK-based energy company, has been awarded a $375 million tender to construct and operate a 250-megawatt plant in Mozambique. The company, previously known as Gritrix Africa, emerged as the successful bidder from a pool of 14 firms vying for the development project. This achievement follows GL Africa's successful energy ventures in Zambia. Humphrey Kariuki, the Chairman of GL Africa Energy, shared details of the company's journey and vision during an interview with CNBC Africa.
