The inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member of the G20 signifies a transformational moment in global governance, recognizing Africa's rightful place in shaping global economic and social constructs. The theme of solidarity, equality, and sustainability underpins South Africa's G20 Presidency, reflecting a commitment to advancing the African agenda on the global stage.
