Bidvest Group posts 2.8% increase in H1’25 HEPS

Short term insurance group Santam reported a 51 per cent jump in profit in its full year to December. Gross written premiums grew 11 per cent in the year to R41 billion with underwriting margin standing at 7.6 per cent.

Italtile has reported a 4 per cent growth in headline earnings per share despite a flat system-wide turnover, for the half year period to 31 Dec 2024.

Northam Platinum CEO, Paul Dunne expects the platinum market to improve on the back of a growing supply deficit as production declines. The miner’s half-year profit halved due to low metal prices.

PGM miner, Impala Platinum, has reported a 43.6 per cent decline in first-half Headline Earnings Per Share to 206c, as lower rand PGM prices offset strong operational delivery, higher sales volumes, and disciplined cost control.

Diversified industrial group, KAP Ltd has released results for the 6-months ended 31 Dec, reporting a 2 per cent increase in Revenue and a 21 per cent decrease in headline earnings per share to 17.2 cents.
