<p>Every day that passes seals the fate of the abducted students says the president of the Association of Industrial Security and Safety Operations of Nigeria, Ona Ekhomu. While calling on the governor of Katsina state to personally, lead the effort to rescue the remaining 333 students, Ekhomu urged the governor to adopt the Makama strategy to recover the students from the bandits. <p>Nigeria&#8217;s Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, disclosed that President Muhammadu Buhari has given his approval for the release of the one billion dollars. This has been received with mixed reactions across the country.</p>

<p>Some of the 110 schoolgirls abducted from the northeast Nigerian town of Dapchi last month were brought back on Wednesday according to reports from Reuters. Senior Special Adviser to the President on Media and publicity has confirmed.</p>
