From a mudslide in Freetown that left over five hundred people dead, and thousands more displaced to the more recent flooding in Makurdi that left over 100 000 people homeless. West Africa has been faced with a series of natural disasters leaving many vulnerable people in need of urgent aid. CNBC Africa spoke to Sanyade Okoli, CEO Alpha African Advisory and Orode Doherty, Country Head, Africare about the challenges they face in getting relief materials across to the victims.
