As the possibility of a 3rd downgrade looms nearer for South Africa, the country needs to get rid of many boards and CEO’s that are failing the economy. This was the word from the ruling party’s presidential hopefully, Dr Mathews Phosa, at the side-lines of the Small Business Indaba in Johannesburg. Speaking to CNBC Africa’s Aviwe Mtila, Phosa, who is very critical about President Jacob Zuma’s leadership, says empty slogans such as radical economic transformation need to be eradicated and small business should be at the core of rebuilding South Africa’s economy.
