Nigeria banking index down 1.8% after CBN fines banks over MTN

The NSE Banking Index fell 1.8 per cent on Thursday after the Central Bank of Nigeria fined four banks for violation of Nigeria’s forex regulations in repatriating MTN Nigeria’s funds.
