Nigeria records 4 consecutive quarters of growth

Nigeria’s GDP figures for the first quarter of the year were published earlier today showing that the country’s economy grew by 1.95 per cent in that period. That’s the fourth consecutive quarter of growth since the country’s economy came out of recession in the first quarter of 2017. Gaimin Nonyane, Head of Economic Research at Ecobank joins CNBC Africa for more on the figures.
