The Association of Licensed Telecoms Operators of Nigeria, ALTON, says the move by the Kogi State Internal Revenue Service to shut down some base stations for not meeting its requirement of 36 statutory and non-statutory taxes and levies could cause a total outage in telecoms services in 10 states and Nigeria’s Federal Capital Abuja.
