Every year, September 26 is celebrated as World Contraception Day. The main goal of the global event is to improve awareness about contraception and to enable sexually active people to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health. This year’s event comes in the wake of growing concerns over a looming population explosion. Will the use of contraceptives offer the silver bullet to the dire need for people to plan their families?
