The GP Gippengen will see the return to racing for the European and Italian champion, Giacomo Nizzolo. This will be his first race back following the Giro d'Italia where he sprinted to his maiden grand tour stage victory on stage 13.
The GP Gippengen is an undulating 172km course that usually ends in a reduced group sprint. Lining up alongside Nizzolo will be Reinardt Janse van Rensburg who finished 3rd at the last edition of GP Gippengen and previous to that, the South African was also 5th at the race in 2017.
Completing our team for Gippengen will be Simon Clarke, Andreas Stokbro, Nicholas Dlamini, Connor Brown and Karel Vacek.

“It’s a hard race with a hard climb in the circuit and this year it is even harder again, with a new climb added into the final 2 circuits. I think this race can be in the balance between the attackers and sprinters and it's hard to predict what might happen. So it should be exciting!”
