What the future holds for Kenya’s gig economy hit hard by COVID-19 lockdown

Over the last decade, the online gig economy has gradually grown in Kenya. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the sector with data showing that earnings for gig workers has sharply declined due government-imposed measures to contain the spread of the virus.
