Investing in Africa's frontier markets
In 1988, emerging markets represented less than 1 per cent of world market capitalisation, today they represent 10 per cent of world market capitalisation. Similar to emerging markets, in 1988 frontier markets represent only 1 per cent of today's world market capitalisation despite having 25 per cent of the world's population. So is it safe to say, frontier markets are now the new emerging markets? Sean Wilson, Managing Partner at LR Global joins CNBC Africa to discuss the perks of investing in Africa's frontier markets.
