Angola plans to strengthen lock-down restrictions as Covid-19 cases rise

Angola is on the edge of tightening its Covid-19 lock-down restrictions as the number of confirmed cases rise to 35. The country is not immune to the economic and social ramifications that the Covid-19 pandemic will unleash on African countries but according to Angolan commentator Rui Oliveira, the CEO at BFA Asset Management, he believes that this is also a time for the country to reflect on its social constructs and policy-making tools that could aid the political and economic crisis that it faces.
