Rwanda’s lending sector sees reduced appetite for credit in first quarter
The latest market report by TransUnion highlights that the appetite for credit dropped in quarter one this year. There was a 77.3 per cent decline in loan disbursements, and a 19.72 per cent drop in the number of new accounts reported compared to the quarter before that. Emile Kinuma, Country Director at TransUnion Rwanda spoke to CNBC Africa’s Julius Bizimungu for more.
