The African Development Bank has reiterated calls for the redeployment of Special Drawing Rights by the International Monetary Fund to Multilateral development banks, stressing that the time is now to facility leverage the fund for Africa’s development. According to the Acting Senior Vice President of the African Development Bank, Swazi Tshabalala, it is time to go beyond making commitments.
