Nigeria's power intervention fund hits ₦2.9trn
Nigeria's intervention fund to electricity distribution companies has risen by 45 per cent to 2.9 trillion naira from 2 trillion naira recorded as of May this year. Meanwhile, the Bureau of Public Enterprises, and the Central Bank of Nigeria, have issued a 6- month deadline to banks to hand over or sell the shares of some DISCOs they recently took over.
