How Nigeria’s student loan scheme aims to improve education access

With the launch of Nigeria’s student loan scheme, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund, Akintunde Sawyerr, says the intention behind the scheme is to ensure that lack of finance is not a reason for any Nigerian to halt education at a tertiary level. He adds that the student loan application process will be devoid of human interference. He joins CNBC Africa to discuss more about the initiative.
