LVMH won’t use synthetic diamonds in significant way, executive says
PARIS, April 18 (Reuters) – Leading luxury group LVMH will not use synthetic diamonds to a significant extent, senior executive Stephane Bianchi said during the company’s annual general meeting on Thursday.
LVMH, owner of diamond jeweller Tiffany & Co, began showing clients watches and jewellery featuring lab-created diamonds last year, testing luxury buyers’ interest in using man-made stones at the very top end of the market.
